I’ve just noticed that the Tri Lake Ridge area in the Foothills has 31 new lots for sale with a price range of $165K - $325K. The area is called Tri Lake Ridge because of the three-lake view: Kalamalka Lake, Okanagan Lake and Swan Lake. You can obtain more info from the realtors Patti and Norm Brenner.

I was browsing the home listings on okhomeseller.com and came across an interesting house thats going to be built on Red Mountain Place. Two things make this house very interesting to me: 1) The house will be built using insulated concrete forms which gives you a very solid and well insulated home. 2) The house will be heated and cooled using a geothermal system. If these things sound interesting to you, here are a few links to learn more about the house and the technologies that will be used to build it:
- House to be built on Red Mountain Place - listing on okhomeseller.com
- eco Block - the insulated concrete forms system that will be used on the house
- Geothermal Heat Pump - info on geothermal heat pumps from BC Hydro
- Vancouver Sun - article that discusses environmentally friendly homes.
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the builder of the house mentioned here and I don’t have any idea as to the quality of work the builder performs.
